Sallie Grubb

Sallie Grubb, Associate/Accountant

Sallie Grubb handles both the financial and personnel functions for moss+ross.  She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1988 and nine years ago opened a bookkeeping practice: Sallie Jones Accounting and Bookkeeping Services. She joined moss+ross in January 2020.

Sallie received her BA in Economics/Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sallie is active in the Raleigh community and is especially interested in nonprofits.  Some of her nonprofit clients have included Alliance Medical Ministry, Dress for Success Triangle, and the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association.

Sallie enjoys volunteering.  Currently she is the treasurer of Raleigh Fine Arts and serves on the finance committee of the Community Music School.  She is past treasurer of the North Carolina National Society of the Colonial Dames in Wake County, Christ Episcopal Church in Raleigh, Saint Mary’s Parent’s Council, and the North Carolina Museum of History Board of Directors.

Sallie lives in Raleigh with her husband Gordon.  They have three children: Stuart, Robert and Darden. She enjoys spending time at the beach, walking and playing bridge.

Fun Fact:  Sallie grew up in Durham and was a sorority sister of Mary Moss.
