Kim Glenn, President

Kim Glenn became President and Partner of moss+ross in January 2022. She is one of the firm’s senior consultants with 20 years of experience in university development, nonprofit management and fundraising, board development, prospect research, and community outreach. Kim joined moss+ross in 2011 after a career in university development, nonprofit fundraising, and government audit with Duke University, University of Louisville, and the Center for Creative Arts.

Kim brings extensive knowledge of the region’s philanthropic community to her work with moss+ross clients. Having worked with many of the firm’s more than 250 clients, she is an expert in nonprofit organizational and fundraising best practices and has been a frequent presenter for the AFP NC and NC Center for Nonprofits Conferences. Kim’s breadth of experience and strategic thinking has supported a variety of engagements including capital campaigns, development and organizational assessments, feasibility studies, strategic planning, board training, executive search, and prospect research.

Kim is a 2023 Leadership Triangle Goodmon Fellow and a member of its Women’s Leadership Affinity Group. She is past board chair of The Green Chair Project in Raleigh where she led the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees and chaired the Campaign Planning Committee for the organization’s first-ever capital campaign. She has also served on the Stewardship Taskforce at Edenton Street United Methodist Church. Kim graduated with honors from UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. She lives in North Raleigh with her husband, Tres, and has two grown children, Matt and Peter.
