Jeanne Murray, Senior Associate, Director of Marketing
Jeanne Murray works on campaign messaging, case statements, impact reports, and communications and marketing plans. She joined moss+ross in 2013 after a career in software development and marketing with IBM in Research Triangle Park, N.C., where her focus was on global technology, marketing, and client engagement.
Jeanne helps clients tell stories that connect their mission with the people who care about it. She develops communications and marketing plans, case statements, impact reports and other collateral to reach audiences and inspire action. She values collaborative processes that engage input from a variety of audiences, knowing that messages are most compelling when they synthesize multiple points of view.
Jeanne is a long-time volunteer in her Durham community, currently serving on the board at Families Moving Forward. She has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, a Master of Education in Instructional Design from UNC-Chapel Hill, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.
Jeanne and her husband Brian Murray, Director of the Duke University Energy Initiative, enjoy spending time with their two adult children and traveling with family.
Fun fact: Jeanne is part of a very large family and is a distance runner, both of which hone qualities of optimism and endurance.
