Carrie Gray is the Director of Executive Search at moss+ross. She is a natural connecter, finding joy in building long-term and lasting relationships. Her unique background in community relations, communications, and business development spans over 25 years in corporate America, serving multiple industries including agriculture, automotive, financial services, retail, and executive search.

She spent many years of her career with Wachovia, Wells Fargo, and BASF building partnerships with countless nonprofits across North Carolina as well as North America in the community relations arena. She finds excitement in the connections built over time and in giving back to the communities in which she lives.

Carrie currently serves on the board of directors for The Green Chair Project, the NC FFA State Foundation, East Wake FFA Alumni, and the Eastern Wake Business Alliance. In the past, she has served as a board member with Marbles Kids Museum, Triangle Family Services, and The Exploris School. She has also held seats on community advisory boards with The Junior League of Raleigh and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC.

Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, a master’s degree from Purdue University, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. She has called Eastern Wake County home for more than two decades with her husband, Jason, two boys, Warren and Tanner, and always a slew of Irish and Gordon Setters.

Fun fact: Carrie minored in Costume Construction, which is the fancy term for sewing.
