Cameron Mize, Associate
Cameron is a nonprofit development professional with experience in annual giving, donor stewardship, volunteer management, marketing and communications, and database management. In addition to her years working in nonprofits, Cameron also gained experience managing digital fundraising campaigns for nonprofit clients in healthcare, education, and social justice during her time working as an advertising agency account manager. In 2019, Cameron became an affiliate contractor with moss+ross’ interim solutions and in 2022, she joined the moss+ross team, continuing to support interim solutions as an Associate.
As an affiliate contractor, Cameron had the opportunity to work with a range of local nonprofits, providing everything from development, database and campaign support, to even helping build a website and branded materials for a startup. Her experiences in these various roles has prepared her to be a valuable asset to interim solutions internally because she has a strong understanding of what is needed to set both the client and the contractor up for a successful working relationship.
Cameron earned a BA in sociology from Bates College and has remained connected to her alma mater by acting as a class agent, leading fundraising efforts among her graduating class. She also serves on St. Michael’s Parish Day School’s fundraising committee.
Cameron lives in Raleigh with her husband, Wes, and her two boys, Davis and Luke. She loves cooking, needlepointing, spending time with friends and family, and, after growing up in the Midwest and spending 4 years of college in Maine, loves the North Carolina weather and spending time outdoors.
