Anna White Hosea, Senior Associate

Anna White Hosea is a Senior Associate at moss+ross with more than 20 years of experience in independent schools, social services, and arts organizations. With a particular interest in donor relationship building and strategic planning, she has experience with campaign planning, annual giving and major gift processes, and volunteer management.

Anna consulted with moss+ross from 2018 – 2020 before leaving to lead the development program at Cardinal Gibbons High School. During her tenure there, annual giving grew by 60% and total giving more than doubled. She rejoined moss+ross in 2023. Previous experience includes advancing the missions for Ravenscroft School (Raleigh), Holton-Arms School (Maryland), and the National Gallery of Art (Washington, DC).

Anna is a past board chair and volunteer for StepUp Ministry and currently serves on the board of Spoleto Study Abroad. She received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and is a proud graduate of Ravenscroft School in Raleigh.

A Raleigh native and resident, Anna lives with her two school-aged sons. When not working for moss+ross, she can be found coaching or on the sidelines of her sons’ various activities, exploring the restaurant scenes of Raleigh and Durham, or wrangling with her garden beds.

Fun fact: Anna has traveled to over 20 countries on six continents, and Anna has known moss+ross Founder Mary Moss for over 25 years.
