Friends of Jockey’s Ridge State Park Strategic Plan

Friends of Jockey’s Ridge State Park supports, enhances and promotes Jockey’s Ridge State Park as a significant geologic feature of the Outer Banks, North Carolina. It is a unique park due to its geological features and due to its natural movement and change. It is enjoyed and supported by more than 1 million annual visitors.

moss+ross guided the Friends of Jockeys Ridge leadership through a strategic planning process.  They took extra care to involve diverse and informed constituents in the process, which resulted in new mission, vision, values followed by a detailed set of goals and strategies. The plan was foundational to the celebration of the 50th anniversary in June 2025.
