Mary Pinaula joined moss+ross in January 2025. She has a background in organizational development, nonprofits, recruitment, and sales and marketing.  As a consultant, she has worked with several nonprofits strengthening infrastructure and developing procedures.

Mary served as Director of Advancement Services for Duke Law School managing all aspects of advancement, including stewardship, data management, human resources, and gift processing, while also acting as liaison for the Board of Visitors.  She has held director-level roles in sales organizations, managing key client relationships and developing metrics that drove organizational growth.  Earlier in her career, Mary worked in recruitment for an international organization, opening their office in Madrid, Spain.

Mary graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BS in Communications and a minor in psychology.   She has a certificate in Human Resources from Duke.

She lives in Raleigh with her husband David and enjoys spending time with their large extended family.  In her free time, she loves traveling, attending live music events, and cooking.

Fun Fact: Mary worked with Kristina Bowman at Duke Law School in the Alumni and Development office.
