Liz McKee joined moss+ross in February 2026, bringing more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management across Eastern North Carolina.

Most recently, she served as Director of Development for White Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she led capital and annual campaigns, donor and volunteer cultivation, board development, strategic planning, and partnerships with local nonprofits.

Previously, Liz was Director of Stewardship for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh, overseeing all aspects of its diocesan-wide annual appeal, including major gift procurement, special events, and donor prospecting. She also served on staff at PlaySpace during its merger with Exploris Museum, which formed Marbles Kids Museum.

Liz earned her undergraduate degree in Communications/Public Relations from The University of Alabama and holds a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from Birmingham-Southern College.

Liz lives in Johnston County with her husband, Barry. They enjoy spending time with their adult children and babysitting their granddog. In her free time, Liz enjoys strength training, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Fun Fact: Liz was previously a client of moss+ross and had the pleasure of working with Mary Moss and Anna White Hosea on two highly successful capital campaigns. She also served alongside Lizzy Mottern on a volunteer committee.
