Kim Glenn was named President of moss+ross in January 2022, after serving in the role of Managing Director for four years. She is one of the firm’s senior advisors with more than 23 years of experience in nonprofit, higher education, and government sectors. Kim joined moss+ross in 2011 after serving in key roles with Duke University, University of Louisville, Center for Creative Arts, and the Government Accounting Office, where she specialized in annual fundraising, community outreach, board development, prospect research, and program audit.  

As president, Kim leads the firm’s strategic initiatives, working with a team of moss+ross partners to offer services across North Carolina and create new offerings to support the emerging needs of the nonprofit community including TowneBank NextLevel Conference for Executive Leaders, SECU Leadership Summit, and BoardReady™, a new program designed to prepare community leaders for nonprofit board service. Having worked closely with many of the firm’s more than 300 clients, Kim is an expert in nonprofit organizational and fundraising best practices and brings extensive knowledge of the region’s philanthropic community to her work with moss+ross partners. Kim has been a frequent presenter for AFP NC, NC Center for Nonprofits, and SECU Mission Development Conferences.

Kim’s breadth of experience and expertise has supported a variety of engagements including capital campaigns, development and organizational assessments, feasibility studies, strategic planning, board training, executive search, and prospect research. 

Kim is a 2023 Leadership Triangle Goodmon Fellow and a member of its Women’s Leadership Affinity Group. She currently serves as a mentor for Leadership Triangle participants and is a former board chair of The Green Chair Project in Raleigh where she led the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees. Kim graduated with honors from UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
