Kate Piva leverages her extensive background in business operations and management to provide seamless financial support. She is dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely billing for all clients and vendors, allowing businesses to operate smoothly.

With over thirty years of experience in nonprofits and higher education, Kate has excelled in both communications and business operations. Early in her career, she honed her skills in marketing and communications for several museums. Building on this foundation, Kate pursued an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, which propelled her into diverse leadership roles at Duke, including positions within the School of Medicine, Nasher Museum, and Duke University Marine Lab.

Kate began consulting in 2021, embracing a flexible approach that allows her to accommodate clients’ schedules while maintaining a fulfilling personal life with her boyfriend, Mike, and dog, Max, in Indian Beach, NC.

Fun Fact: Kate moved to North Carolina as a teenager, and her career has been consistently supported by Susan Ross since Kate’s early days as a Duke groundskeeper during summer breaks.
