Emily Miller joined moss+ross in March 2025 with fifteen years of professional experience in nonprofits, consulting, and talent management.

Previously, as a Senior Executive Search Consultant for Campbell & Company, Emily led client engagements to equip the nonprofit sector with capable, outstanding leaders. Prioritizing a targeted research strategy and a seamless client and candidate experience, Emily worked closely with boards and leadership teams across the country (and even internationally!) and in every sector; however, she brought a particular expertise in education and the arts, fueled by her personal and professional background.

Before joining Campbell & Company, she worked at Chicago Academic Tutoring & Test Prep, where she was responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing its entire roster of tutors for all K-12 academic subjects as well as ACT and SAT test prep. During her final year with Chicago Academic, Emily served as Recruiting Director, shepherding the growth of the company from a 4-person family-run boutique to a multi-location business employing over two dozen staff members.

Prior to working in education, Emily was the Artistic and Programming Associate for The Broad Stage, a nonprofit performing arts center in Santa Monica, California, where she helped the Artistic Director curate seasons of over 200 annual performances.

Emily is a lifelong lover of the arts who graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre.
