Healing Transitions is in the final stages of a $16.75 million capital campaign to expand its lifesaving recovery services and add 200 more beds at its two campuses in Raleigh. The community’s support for the Recovery Can’t Wait campaign has been extraordinary, before and during the pandemic. The result: more people will know the joy of recovery from addiction.

Congratulations to the Emily Krzyzewski Center for raising $16.8 million, surpassing its $15 million goal for the Game Changer campaign. The Center’s programs serve Durham students from elementary school through college who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education, and the campaign inspires a bright future for Durham students for generations to come.

The Compass Center for Women and Families in Orange County is opening new emergency housing apartments for survivors of domestic violence after raising $1 million in its Safe Homes, New Lives campaign. The Center offers free and voluntary services to guide individuals and their families toward safety, self-sufficiency and empowerment. Emergency housing fills a critical gap in serving domestic violence victims.
