Cindy Brady joined moss+ross as Special Counsel in 2026 and has focused her career in nonprofits on program development and systems change. Before her work as a consultant, she was most recently with Cone Health for six years as a senior strategist and grant writer. She has extensive experience producing Community Health Needs Assessments.

Cindy started her nonprofit career as an accountant. Her experience includes Director of the Family Justice Center of Alamance County (2011-2018), where she worked with a team of agencies to provide one-stop services for victims of family violence; President of United Way of Alamance County (2007-2011); and Director of Healthy Alamance for six years, where she worked with volunteers and other agencies to improve health in Alamance County. During the 2018 election season, Cindy was the Coordinator for an Education School Bond Referendum, where 70% of voters voted for passage.

A graduate of Elon College, Cindy earned a master’s in public administration from UNC-Pembroke and holds a certification in public health from the UNC-Chapel Hill Institute of Public Health. She lives in Burlington, NC, and enjoys walking, playing golf, and reading.
