Chuck Fyfe is the Director of Operations for moss+ross and also works with clients on executive searches, strategic planning, and organizational assessments. Chuck joined moss+ross in 2012 after a career that included 30 years in the corporate world. Chuck brings an analytical approach to problem solving, often contributing financial and operational expertise to client projects. As Director of Strategic Planning for CP&L/Progress Energy, he led an internal consulting function that focused on company-wide best practices. As Manager of Business Planning and Budgeting, he introduced a major overhaul in the annual business planning process that blended operating units’ strategic planning with annual planning and budgeting.

Chuck served in a consulting role with senior management where, among other projects, he led an industry-wide benchmarking staffing study. He also advised senior management on executive performance measures and enterprise key performance indicators. Chuck served six years as the first Director of Admissions and Assistant Dean of Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.

Chuck has a varied volunteer resume having served as board chair for Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina, vice-chair of North Carolina Opera, and board chair of the Haiti Fund, a reforestation project. He has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Duke University.

Chuck and his wife Patsy live in Raleigh and have two adult children living in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and two grandchildren.

Fun fact: Chuck was introduced to moss+ross by colleague Allison Haltom whom he has known for over forty years.
