Our History
Mary Moss and Susan Ross founded the firm in 2009 after nearly three decades of working in nonprofit fundraising and decades of volunteer service. Since then, the firm has steadily added clients and team members. Since 2021, the team has operated with a shared ownership and leadership model.
Today, four managing partners guide the firm’s continued intentional growth: Kim Glenn, Kate Hearne, Anna Hosea, and Lizzy Mottern. moss+ross Partners Kristina Bowman, Elizabeth Hopkins, Brooke Jenkins, Dave Monaco, Jeanne Murray, and Kathryn Williams form a partnership team that works across all services areas: Fundraising & Campaigns, Strategic Plans & Capacity Building, and m+r interim solutions®, Leadership & Talent. Each client engagement is led by partners and counsel team members who bring deep knowledge to the work that strengthens our nonprofit community.
